Weather
Along the coastline, the region usually enjoys year-round bright, sunny and mild weather with an average yearly temp of 16 degrees centigrade. It's protected by the Pyrenees Mountains in the north and the warm Mediterranean to the east. A warm jet stream helps keep the region pleasantly bright and mild during the winter. Shirt-sleeves in November and February is not uncommon.
